GEOS Environment on the Ground to Protect the Territory: PFU Removal Operation on the Coast of Castel Volturno

Territorial protection, environmental responsibility and operational expertise: these are the principles that guided the intervention carried out by GEOS Environment, acting as Ecopneus’ exclusive contractor, on the beach near the mouth of the Regi Lagni, in the area of Castel Volturno (CE).
The operation involved a special activity of selective cleaning and removal of End-of-Life Tyres (ELTs) that had been illegally abandoned, with the aim of contributing to the recovery and protection of an area that is particularly sensitive from an environmental perspective.
The presence of illegally abandoned waste along the coastline represents a critical issue not only for the landscape, but also for the protection of coastal ecosystems. Intervening in these areas means making a concrete contribution to territorial protection, through targeted activities carried out with expertise and careful consideration of the specific characteristics of the area.
Drawing on its experience and operational capabilities, GEOS Environment deployed its resources and professional expertise to carry out the selective removal of ELTs, reaffirming its commitment to addressing environmental challenges and enhancing the value of local territories.
The activity is part of the broader collaboration with Ecopneus, aimed at the management and recovery of End-of-Life Tyres and at promoting a circular economy model in which waste can be transformed into a new resource.
