Napoli 02/02/2026  – Today, GEOS Environment had the honor of hosting the Mayor Gaetano Manfredi of Naples on site for an inspection of the remediation activities currently underway along the San Giovanni a Teduccio coastline, one of the most anticipated and strategic projects for the redevelopment of the city’s waterfront.

The visit was an important opportunity to showcase the work GEOS is carrying out in the field. It is a complex operation, set in a sensitive environmental context, requiring high technical expertise, solid operational organization, and constant attention to safety and ecosystem protection.

The ongoing remediation activities contribute concretely to the restoration of this stretch of coast, with the aim of returning to citizens a safer, accessible, and environmentally sustainable beach, in line with the broader project to restore the bathing quality of the Neapolitan shoreline.

The Mayor’s inspection confirms the value of the work being carried out and GEOS Environment’s role in major land remediation and redevelopment projects, supporting public institutions and the community in building a renewed relationship between the city and its sea.
